I do hear you but to be smeared by the likes of Blackface Baddiel (who he endorsed) as racists was a huge, huge red line for many of us. If Polanski just came out and said he got it wrong, the way for example Oborne has, it would go a long way. Votes should be earned.

They could be any of the 1400 recently kidnapped from the West Bank. I doubt they’ve all quickly had a trial! (In which 99.7% of Palestinians, in segregated courts, are found guilty anyway). Not the only clip I’ve seen of uniformed soldiers like these. Should be shown in news.
