Got engaged at romantic ‘The Star hotel’, Alfriston & want to return first night of honeymoon. When we enquired got an underwhelming generic response back referring us to website. Popped our bubble a bit. Not what I’d expect from anything @alex_polizzi_ is involved with.

Getting married next year. So exited. Planned to spend our first night as husband & wife @The_Pig_Hotel in Canterbury but the response was generic & disinterested. Punched the guts out of our excitement. Soulless & joyless. No thanks. #Honeymoon

Paula Vennells has no idea what the PO was up to, never really enquired, didn't understand the PO organisational structure, didn't ask questions ... and was being paid very handsomely for very very little. It is beyond belief (from her own account) that she was hired & promoted!

Wondering which lawyer or PR consultant has prepared Paula for this public hearing. And who paid? She likes taking a brief & is clearly deploying a strategy of not remembering much, being unaware & denial. Everyone else’s fault. Don’t need a qualification to have a backbone.

Paula Vennells is very clear that she’s NOT a legal or IT expert. But as CEO she controlled resources, staffing, external communications & strategy. Yet she is clear she is NOT accountable or responsible or guilty of any wrongdoing. Don’t understand what her role was.

Watching Paula Vennells being cross examined is ugly viewing. CEO of a large public body not accountable, had no power, can’t recall anything. Too trusting she said. Not curious enough. A victim almost as helpless as some of the wronged sub postmasters. Jason Beer is impressive!

Hideous over crowding with people standing on the 16.30 from Paddington toSwindon with seat reservations turned on minutes before departure creating chaos & animosity. No comms. Poor customer experience @GWRHelp. What’s the point of making reservations? #CustomerExperience

I wonder how long it will before some bad HR or legal advice emerges as the reason behind hospital whistleblowers in the Lucy Letby case, being forced to apologise to her in writing? Likewise delaying involving the police to protect reputation. Hope lasting changes are made. #HR
