Speaking as retired officer can we please stop this nonsense. The oath specifically states without fear or favour. Officer's wouldn't be allowed to wear football scarves when policing games.

I always attend my local Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday . Next week I will do so again but for the first time will wear medals I have been awarded. It’s the best way I can say a huge “ fuck you” to all those that want to tarnish that day .

Speaking as a retired police officer I can say without doubt that this nonsense seriously yanks my chain. Many a good cop has paid the ultimate price wearing the uniform and it shouldn't be tarnished like this.

I’m a retired police officer(not Met) and proud to be so. Those that have done the job especially at the sharp end can see when things are done wrong. The Met are doing too much wrong these days and it pains me to say it. They need to up their game and quick..

My brother was in the army for over twenty years including several tours of NI. I have asked if he shot anyone and he refused to say but didn't deny it. Real soldiers don't brag about how many people they've killed.
