@TheSwansonater @chrissyfreeMD She never mentioned racism as a reason. There is no excuse for programs in major US cities to not have at least 1-2 black residents, especially in OBGYN given black maternal mortality statistics. There is a huge lack of recruitment or it’s simply not priority for said programs.

@KevinCChiang Anesthesiology ➡️ Internal medicine. Surgery rotation turned me off to the OR and I was not gonna spend another month let alone years in there lol. Then the control freak in me found hospitalist life and it was a match. Also obsessed with GI and liked palliative so ..no brainer
