@KenTrowbridge3 Last season all PRC pool stage matches were played, effectively pre-season, due to RWC2023. Bath failed to make the knockout stages, so arranged some 'friendlies', during the long mid-season gap.

@CrootMatt Especially as it's 1st v 2nd in both Premiership & PR Cup, plus both need a 4+ try bonus point win, for different reasons, in the final pool match. Also means no TMO for the match 🧐

There is a Regulation similar to that, with various exceptions. It does NOT apply to the quarter-finals. It DOES apply to the semi-finals & final 🧐🧐🧐

@CrootMatt Would agree with that. It's a shame that such a big derby match, on the final pool weekend, is not being televised live.

It's tough decisions for the coaches. Bath's last Premiership match was 26th January against Sale & Bath's next Premiership match is 23rd March against Gloucester. That COULD be a 2 MONTH gap in competitive matches, for much of our 1st team squad 🤔

EXCLUDING International players, the only restriction is, players should NOT exceed 30 matchday involvements.

We're LIKELY to go with more of a 50/50 matchday squad for both the final pool round & quarter-final.
@RugbyBath Guess so - perhaps think about introducing a few to get some game time ahead of the Gloucester game in that case
