I feel so happy to be able to go to the @EndLonelinessAU symposium on November 4 in Sydney, representing our @arcap_aus team, thanks to the research led by @drabbeylove. As someone who experienced great loneliness as a kid after migrating from China, I can't wait to learn more!

@JamesNKirby @CompMindFound @jenniferdnadel So cool! I'm completing a self-guided online meditation course by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche - it's teaching me so much more about meditation techniques than I've ever learned in the past.

Love this @AutismAdulthood roundtable on importance of positive psychology for autistic individuals - focus not only on reducing suffering, but also improve positive emotional experiences, cultivate relationships, and pursue a meaningful life. @arcap_aus

This is a great free-to-read @journalautism paper discussing why it's important to use a strength-based approach to mental health and wellbeing for autistic individuals - "autistic and non-autistic participants reported similar strengths" @arcap_aus

@elemcsherry @journalautism @arcap_aus Completely agree, Eleanor! We need more narratives around intersectionality across the board. And also be careful about generalising research findings.
