@MartinSLewis A sweet old fella I used to walk past was a professional decorator. I booked him in to paint 1 bedroom that I’d already stripped. Him & his young helper were there all week.I kept asking for the price-‘don’t worry, we’ll sort it when done’. Came to £750. £125 pd labour+materials

@FurzeyRetriever I don’t think so- she’s been surprisingly ambivalent so far. I think Jack Black (cat) has worked it out though & has circled her.

@FurzeyRetriever We’ve called her Custard as we’ve had her for company for our other rescue dog called Jelly. We’ve made leaps and bounds today- even had a tail wag ❤️

#NationalGoldenRetrieverDay apparently yesterday was National Golden Retriever Day…. Fortuitously this beautiful rescue pup came to us yesterday. She’s blind or very severely sight impaired. She’s scared, tired but going to have the best of lives with us.
