Help us welcome Cody Schilling as RCHS Boys Head Basketball Coach! He and his wife were welcomed into the Bulldog Family at April's School Board Meeting. Coach Schilling has a decade of experience with collegiate & high school athletics and is a former collegiate player himself.
It's true! Every single employee was handed a $500 check today as a show of appreciation from the school board and administration. This was made possible through higher than anticipated enrollment growth.

The RCISD Board unanimously passed a resolution tonight to nominate Supt Kevin Worthy as Superintendent of the Year for Region X. Board President Julie Stutts commented, "He is our Superintendent of the Year and we are proud of where he has taken our schools and our community."
Out of an abundance of caution, RCISD will be on a 2 hour delay on 1/16. Buses will run 2 hours later than their normal schedule. This is due to the unpredictability of road conditions across our district and with the safety of our buses, staff, parents & young drivers in mind.
With 31 years of service in Texas public schools & 12 as superintendent of RCISD, Kevin Worthy announced his retirement. He will continue to serve the district as supt through the end of the current semester. Help us say THANK YOU and read more at:

The Texas UIL has released new alignments for 2020-2022. Royse City High School has been assigned as 5A Division II. At the cut off date, RCHS tallied 1904 students making it one of the largest to compete in 5A Division II for the 2020-2022 seasons. Let's Go Bulldogs!
