The right way does not have an expiration date

Don’t waste your sorrows. Adversity is one of the greatest times to grow in our faith….God will always have Christians by the hand.

Competitors never give in to victory nor defeat. They prepare themselves mentally and physically, put the team first, compete in the moment, then evaluate the results. And then, for a competitor, there is only one thing that matters…what’s next?

Many traits are inherited...character is not one of them. Multiple factors may influence our character but, ultimately, we build it and we own it by the choices and habits we make. Our character is on us….No Excuses

God doesn’t measure our spiritual capacity based on GPA or IQ, He measures it on His promises. Once we receive the Holy Spirit, God expects to be exhibited in our lives and He’ll equip us to do that. We don’t bank on our abilities, we bank on God’s promises.

Hard now leads to tough later

Being humble greatly decreases our chances of being humbled.

Contentment and joy come from a grateful heart, not from the circumstances that surround us.

Pretenders talk about what they are going to do trying to convince themselves. Champions do it, then listen to others talk about it

Self-discipline means doing what we SHOULD do rather than what we may WANT to do without the presence of external motivation. Discipline yourself and others won’t have to.

It’s during weakness we are on guard and yet it is often during times of strength we are most susceptible to temptation. It’s the aftermath following a spiritual high or the undercurrent after a trial that can get us. Our strength can be our weakness…. Be alert & Be on guard
