My grandma once called out Jerry Coleman because I only was able to get a couple autographs before a Spring Training game. The very next day, Jerry himself walked me around SD clubhouse to get signatures including a chat with Tony Gwynn. Wish I could thank him once again for that
It’s been five years since our beloved Jerry Coleman passed and not a day goes by that we don’t think of him.

At training camp in Flagstaff with the Suns, one hotel guest guest onced asked Brandon Knight if he was in town for an AAU tournament.
Was at equinox here in the bay , enjoying my açaí bowl, and was asked if I would join a basketball league because I was “tall”. I told him “I’m out” and he said I look like I at least tried basketball in high school. In actuality, he was right 🤷🏽♂️.
