We buried Rosie's ashes this afternoon. Rollo came to say 'goodbye' too. We placed her with rose petals, fresh catnip, some pom poms and other toys.

Rosie was losing weight and had a scan yesterday that showed she was in great pain with gallstones. Any treatment would just cause further suffering so it was decided to put her to sleep. She died peacefully and with dignity. Mum and Dad were with her..........

It is two weeks since Rollo died and 18 weeks since Rosie departed. Our memory box is ready to be put away once Chick Pea 2.0 is boxed. Our other soft toys were donated to the charity shop this morning. Big Sister gave the big pink and white one a kiss before being handed in.

Our humans visited Scotland's Secret Bunker today, an ex-nuclear bunker. Naturally, there was a cat!

Our humans found more of our belongings so took them to the rescue shelter (again). They had a look at the other cats!

Rosie has jaundice. She's lost weight (0.5 kg in two months) and has to have an ultra-sound next week. But she's eating and playing outside as usual. We'll be 17 in August.

Thank you for the many, many kind comments about Rollo's 2nd Angelversary. Big Sister, however, forgot to post his twin Rosie's 2nd Angelversary in the summer. Rosie and Rollo died only a few weeks apart.

We've been to the vet today! All vaccinated and checked over. We've both lost weight. Rollo from 6.3kg to 5.7kg in the last 16 months, Rosie from 4.25kg to 3.7kg. We've to have cod liver oil on our food and Rosie has to return to the vet in 6 weeks time to be weighed again.
