Great to finnaly get this published! Acanthamoeba can influence our ability to detect and disinfect other potential pathogens such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa in high risk areas 🧫🦠 @FionaHenriquez @KiriRodgers @ElisaGiammarini
🧫Authors note that Acanthamoeba species & P. aeruginosa are consistently present in hospital settings, so investigated their relationship in the lab 🦠Findings suggest that amoebae can influence detection & persistence of P. aeruginosa in high-risk areas
