I went down to DC over the weekend for my grandson’s birthday and while I was gone, NY got a couple of inches of snow. The park is beautiful.

@MattilaKarita I remember that when I got out of the subway after 45 minutes, there was a strange calm. Everyone was stunned. The only other time I saw that kind of preternatural calm was in New York on the afternoon of 9/11/2001. 😔

Tonight a most interesting evening. The first ever performances of what currently appears to be the first opera by an African American composer. No idea what to expect but @OpLaf always does excellent work. Tx3 to all.
