I'm gonna elaborate on why I hate this. When people look at a show like eva, popular critically acclaimed. They latch onto the characters, mechs, iconography and all the "stuff" that's recognisably eva and think "that's what makes eva good." But that's completely wrong.
"There may be plans for more in the Evangelion anime franchise" . Hideaki Anno said in a recent interview. He also added that it will be possibly with "someone other than [himself]" at the helm, who would receive a high degree of freedom.

Finished watching after the rain. Loved it, it leads you on with a questionable age-gap romance only to turn it into a heartwarming story about passion, growing up and holding onto your youth. Our leads are the wrong ages for each other but they still inspire the eachother.

I finished my rewatch of made in abyss. This show is truly special and one of the best anime ever made. Peak fiction doesn't even begin to cover it, I still think about it all the time. The worldbuilding, characters, art, animation, and music are all exceptional. One of a kind.
