Roger Maris Bobblehead Day announced in St. Louis and in New York. The St. Louis Cardinals have announce they will have a Roger Maris Bobblehead Day Saturday July 1, 2023. The New York Yankees have also announced a Roger Maris Bobblehead Day at Yankee Stadium on August 20, 2023.

Being named the AP male athlete of the year was a big deal to my dad in 1961 after he hit 61 home runs, so l'm thrilled to see “Captain" Aaron Judge also receiving this highly coveted award in 2022. Congrats to the Judge Team!!

I see the Hall Of Fame did not vote Barry Bonds in today. I also think MLB needs to declare Hank Aaron and Aaron Judge home run kings while they are making changes to the game in 2023.

Sal Durante the guy who caught my dad’s 61st home run died last night. Sal was such a gentleman and loved his Yankees. Sal and my dad will always be connected to each other because of that historic day on October 1, 1961. Condolences to the Durante family from the Maris Family
