Comes from times when roofs were made out of thatch. Cats (and I guess dogs) would sleep in the soft thatch to stay warm. When it would rain heavily, the thatch would get soggy and they would fall through, so "raining cats and dogs".

I work in a shoe store & Sunday we had around 50 groups (2-4) of customers. Literally 90% or more of them were Spanish only speaking, cash only customers. We have NEVER seen anything like that ever in our store. A normal day we’d have less than 6 Spanish only speaking customers.

Yes, that would work. But I have a gut feeling that we'll never get an opportunity to vote for him. A declaration of war or global disaster of some sort will allow them to suspend the election. Or else, they'll kill him. Pelosi warned they would stop at nothing. I believe her.

My daughter had cluster migraines for over a year. NONE of the meds worked, so she was eventually referred to a neurologist. Neuro started her on a high dose of D3, and headaches were gone in a week. Only time she ever has them now is when she gets lax with the D3.

It's definitely cheaper on the tax payers to send them to designated sanctuaries. Better for the illegals as well. Resources in sanctuary cities and states haven't been abused like the resources in the border states have.

Being within 60 miles of Dallas my whole life, my best advice is to find church support groups. Texas will have some good church-based caregiver support groups. Your circle will likely grow from there. And remember, as a caregiver, it's just as important to take care of yourself.

This is what I run into with boycotts. I don't patronize Starbucks, I've never in my life drank a Bud Light, I don't buy Nike (and never have), and so on. Kinda hard to have much of an impact when I already don't patronize the businesses that desperately deserve a boycott.

Honestly, I don't like full, thick, long-ish beards. I haven't ever, and I hated when the new trend became a trend. My grandson wears one, and even tho I love him to bits, I still think he was more handsome without. Scruffy beards are sexy, because I like jawlines! JMO
