For this Indy fan, the future of the franchise is clear: more Troy Baker as Indy in games like The Great Circle, and an animated series! No need for more big screen adventures without Ford.
So I asked and was told that no INDIANA JONES reboot is in development. After the failure of the last one the movie franchise is pretty much dead. But they are making more Indy video games so there's that!

Not exactly thrilled, but I'm holding onto a sliver of optimism. The scarcity of spin-offs, like video games, and the long waits between movies have definitely dampened my enthusiasm for the series.
Amazon will officially gain creative control of the James Bond franchise in a new joint venture deal. Michael G. Wilson & Barbara Broccoli will remain co-owners of Bond but are stepping back to focus on other projects.
