@drgurner @LynAldenContact Not just that... According to the alarmists, AI will be far superior to us in intelligence. So we might be the ones needing to plea for fundamental rights

That quote is commonly attributed to Seneca, but there is no known evidence that he actually wrote it. It more closely resembles sentiments expressed by other thinkers, particularly Voltaire or Edward Gibbon, and it has sometimes been misattributed to Machiavelli as well. A similar idea does appear in The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbon, where he paraphrases the thoughts of various Roman elites on religion, suggesting that: "The various modes of worship which prevailed in the Roman world were all considered by the people as equally true; by the philosophers as equally false; and by the magistrates as equally useful." However, there is no passage in Seneca's extant writings that matches this quote exactly. Seneca did write critically about superstition in De Superstitione (a lost work, known only through Augustine's references in The City of God), but he was not outright dismissive of religion itself. In his other works, such as Letters to Lucilius and On the Happy Life, he often emphasized a philosophical, Stoic approach to piety, advocating a reverence for divine reason rather than traditional religious practices. In traditional Stoicism, piety to DIVINE reason is the foundation. Modern Stoics have discarded that aspect to the detriment of the philosophy.

I don't know if it will happen in that time frame, but I do believe that is how it will happen. There will be a moment at which the view will change from it is a little risky to have Bitcoin TO: Buy Bitcoin NOW at any price FOMO... and when the actual money printers are creating money for nothing, to buy the only limited supply asset... all bets are off

From my understanding Taproot also allows for minting other tokens. Is it possible they will also mine meme coins? I am not arguing their value, they are all crap. BUT, if it all comes to the Bitcoin network, Tether would only be 1 of many with this potential influence. In a way decentralizing it What are your thoughts? (or corrections)

@BillAckman If someone profits from obscurity... they will stand against transparency. Those against DOGE are either People stealing our money through corruption or incompetence, or their vassals.

@RubinReport right! Transparency is the crisis. Who would be against transparency? Who benefits from obscurity?

Because it hasn't. Gold is down 93.5% compared to Bitcoin in 5 years. If Gold market cap is up, all that means is that Gold holders have been diluted by miners and people selling jewelry. If you want to stop being diluted, move the the only limited asset that exists. That is the reason Gold Bugs keep losing value to HODLers
