Just received word that Mr. CIAA, Abraham Mitchell, has passed away at the age of 95! If you attended a CIAA Tournament, you know who Mr. Mitchell. He would walk around the arenas, wearing custom made suits in the colors of all the schools in the conference! Maybe the @CIAAForLife will set up a Shrine, with his many suits, for fans to see at future CIAA Tournaments! @CBS6 #MrCiaa

@leftbrane @_ananamous It's absolutely a serial killer movie. It gets lumped into the arbitrary 'hood movie' mix (which isn't a genre, just a lazy attempt at dismissing Black art). But yes, definitely thriller about a serial killer wrapped in the cloak of 'coming of age teen drama'.

This is a great question. Also, MC Hammer deserves an apology. So many folks bit his style, humor, vision, aspiration, and pop appeal -- repackaged it and pretended like nobody else did it before.
serious question: can anyone identify the inflection point where sales and the likes became a concern of the listener and so-called "culture?" clearly, this wasn't always the case (think mc hammer). feels like it happened around '97 or so, with the rise of no limit. but i dunno.
