Don't think I've ever been to a more desolate train station than Syrau. A 1 carriage train every 2 hours. This place really is in the middle of nowhere!

After the late postponement of my planned match. I was in the middle of nowhere with 55 mins to find something... Thankfully, I got to SC Syrau vs 1fc Trogen. & Wow, the only 2 people who could play were the GK's. Was 0-0 until an injury time winner. Relief!!! 🇩🇪⚽️

@groundhopp Yer, top one was the only realistic 1 to get to. Thankfully, train was on time and with a very fast walk, got to the ground at 1.56

I'd been to Leipzig a couple of times before, but mostly just for a flying visit in & out for football. Having now had a few days here, it's a really nice city & I like the infrastructure which is a nice mix of old and modern. Would recommend for a weekend visit.
