When we legalized cannabis in 2014, we only really legalized it for people who can afford to own their own homes. It may be time to re-examine how this law was written.

You never know where being a state rep will take you. Yesterday I went on a tour of a dispensary (my first time being in one!) and a local production center. It was fascinating to learn about the cannabis industry in my district. Thank you to Farma and Seven Points for the tour!

I'm old enough to remember when this was the only way to rent movies. Two of these are located in my district, and it's always nice to stop in and browse through what they have.

I spent my Saturday afternoon at the Division/Clinton Street Fair helping my neighbors register to vote. It was a really fun experience!

I stand in solidarity with striking Amazon workers across Europe, who are demanding safer working conditions. I hope you will also show your support, and #boycottamazon from the 16th to the 18th. I hope this inspires change for workers here as well.

Yesterday I toured @FreeGeekPDX, a very cool non-profit in my district, to learn about refurbishing old technology, and how they redistribute that back into our community.
