There were more Bonnies fans at Fordham for that game than this home game against GW. Surprising to say the least.

Best coach in the game and great interview. Always has something specific for the listeners. His explanation of how they knew UCONN would look for the lob so he had Luis slip to the baseline is something that we can’t see at the time but now understand.

@plohmygod I just got the rust off an old cast iron skillet I have. Fordham conference schedule is horrible this year. Both our buys we skip weekend games instead of week day.

This is not what I want my head coach to be doing during conference season. How can your players commit to doing the hard work when you are in New Orleans partying? 2-22 0-13 makes a lot of sense.

Yes Jerry you paid a guy was effective early in his career because the Cowboys had a good run game and he could run. Now cowboys have no run game and Dak can’t run. This is less than ideal because Dak is a below average thrower.

Couple special shoutouts for last night: Dean facing up finding Medor on the cut for 1 of three assists. Rivera 3 assists. Dean nice step through finish in the post. Rivera/Dean 16 boards between them. Complete effort by both last night.

Over the past few games we talked about our improved shot selection and playing more disciplined defense not gambling for steals. Urgo specifically referenced both issues as things that need to continue to improve. 🤷♂️

With 6 minutes left URI had 71 points and was on its way to hanging 90 on us. Great job holding them to 8 points rest of the way. Also great job on last possession getting Medor to go to the basket early enough for the put back.

Abdou goes for a steal. Then does not get back to rebound when he misses getting the ball by 5 feet. That sums up why we are losing.

@TG2point0 VCU is paying all its athletes 4 million. That means they will fall far below 3.6 million for hoops. I dont see the majority of the A10 even reaching VCU level. @WestPineBills

@CollHoopsChat The game against Fordham was a red flag. They got bailed out by the refs. I don’t have an answer as to what is wrong, but right now the pieces don’t fit together.

Interesting game after going 2-2 in our last 4 with the team playing better defense not pressing and improving its shot selection. Let’s keep the trend going and get the win. Regressing would lead to sone interesting discussions and they would be warranted.
