How I was able to learn data science without having a laptop?
When I decided to do this(data science), the major limitation for me was not having a laptop.
On some days I would cry and feel frustrated because I didn’t have one and It was slowing me down.

✨ My Data Analytics Roadmap ✨
My generic answer to those starting out as data analysts has always been start with Excel, SQL then move to a BI tool. That is vague. This guide has a list of major topics you should learn for each tool. Pay attention to the footnote.

It’s been a while I worked on a personal project. I decided to try a new one by jumping on the

The idea was to develop a one page dashboard to help people find their ideal ski destination.
Here is what I have come up with. How did I do?
It took a lot of courage to post this as there’s been a lot of beautiful Nobel Prize dashboards on the internet in the past couple of weeks.
Here is my own representation of the Nobel Prize Winners.

LAPTOP OPPORTUNITY FOR THE DATA COMMUNITY!
Someone(would prefer to remain anonymous) reached out to me that he would like to buy laptop for three people in the data community.
REPLY this post with details on why you need it.
Data analytics is more than just a buzzword. Let's understand its real-world applications and how it can help you make better decisions and drive growth in your business.
I find it easier using python to wrangle data than using excel or Power BI.
Power BI is my go-to visualization tool though.
So clean data with python, export to Power BI for Visualization.
One of the greatest gifts I have gotten since I started my career in tech is the gift of community and of mentorship.
As part of my goal to always give back and help entry level data analysts transition into the field of data analytics seamlessly….
I am screaming ooooo😱😱😱😱😱😱
To think I was doing this and reading for my Azure Data Fundamentals at the same time and I only just wanted to top the I4G leaderboard back😭😭😭
Heii, God
This win is for Nigeria oooo😭😭😭😭
Want to work on a data analytics project after completing a course and don’t know how to?
You can follow these steps:
1. Define the project goal: Clearly define the objective of your project and what you want to achieve.

I hope it motivates someone.
Having a data analyst on your team is crucial for every organization, no matter how small, if you want to succeed in the future, especially as we transition to a more data-driven world.
Here are just a few of the many reasons why your organisation needs a data analyst:
I started learning data analytics in March 2022,in less than five months of constantly learning and building in public,I got three interview offers from my twitter DM and many others.I will be sharing the steps I took throughout those months in this space.
Starting a YouTube channel and getting monetized was not part of my Q3 goals but see what came in the mail🥰
I released my first video on YouTube on August 19🥹
In less than 2 months; 15 Videos, 20,000+ views, over a thousand likes, hundreds of comments and now we are monetized💃🏾
I missed my exam😭
I can’t even explain how I feel right now.
I was up all night preparing for a Microsoft exam i thought was today.
Only for me to realize it was last Thursday😭
Good news!!!
I was offered a new voucher to take the exam.I didn’t even think it was possible considering that their rules states 24 hours or you forfeit your exam fee and I was 7 days late already. I am super happy. Thank you all for the kind words…I appreciate.
Everyone in the data community is winning left, right and center.
It is not your turn now doesn’t mean it won’t be you tomorrow.
Keep telling others congratulations, one day others will tell you too.
As a beginner in data analytics, It's important to keep in mind that the best way to learn is through hands-on experience, so don’t get stuck in the world of tutorials but practise project based learning.
Here are some tips for balancing courses and projects;

When the rep from I4G delivered my laptop, I cried hard, I couldn't even help it.
I started to question my self and feel scared if I even deserve all of this.
I have anxiety issues so that added as well.
I am just grateful to God for this favor.
My Roadmap for my Data Science Journey.
I wrote this down when I started.
Intentionality starts from writing down and making plain your goals and how you tend to achieve them.
In my case, I wrote down the goals(things I needed to learn) but I didn’t write down a plan.
I finished the SQL Fundamentals track on DataCamp a couple of days ago.
In the Intermediate SQL course, I learnt how to write subqueries, when and where to include them in my queries. I also learnt how to use nested and correlated sub queries.
Started a new journey this week.. finally decided to go for it..I am committing the next 6 months to my journey in becoming a Data scientist..I hope to come back here six months from now with good news... SO HELP ME GOD
