What a great morning filled with drama! The children used their knowledge of Transportation to Australia to create various scenes from the start of the journey to the end. As you can see from their facial expression it was not a nice time for the passengers. Well, done year 4!

Nursery loved listening to the story 'Where's My Teddy?' They have been talking about different story settings. They then innovated their own story by thinking where else might they lose their teddy.

Reception children came back from lunch to find a crime scene in the outdoor area! We had lots of fun searching for clues and evidence and wrote police incident reports to record our findings!

We can also enrich our dogs' lives through providing opportunities for them to safely Orient, Stalk, Chase, Bite and Dissect! Daisy loved using her scenting skills to find treats hidden in her snuffle mat!

During this weeks science lessons, in Year 5, we have been looking at filtering and sieving. We had to explain how the process worked using vocabulary like particle size to describe how the sand or dirty water went through the sieve or funnel.

This also helps them understand that plants need to be potted up many times throughout their life cycle. They were thrilled to take one of these home to grow alongside their vegetable seeds!

Doubling followed by drama. That’s how our morning in Year 1 rolled today! We had a competition to see who rolled the most doubles in maths. We also acted out the scenes from the story ‘Trees’ and created freeze frames for the pictures of the seasons.
