8. We need to build our game’s roadmap priorities around what players will FEEL. Logic is secondary to visceral emotions.
9. Players want to feel seen and heard. Rioters want to feel valued and respected.

Arena is back in May with a huge update for a ~4 month run, and based on how it sustains player interest we'll gauge opportunities for permanence.
We're also releasing a new game mode in July for the summer event - a cooperative PvE mode!

Had another feedback/iteration round with T1 players a few weeks ago. They’re progressing well, very excited for them - personally, especially for Keria’s skin. They’re planned to ship a little bit after the summer event.

6. Rioters care more than players think. Players care more than we can fathom. Every time I attend an event, this is reinforced.
7. Rioters are legit scared of letting players down. This is both good and bad, and is reinforced by social media.

Should be tuned that it takes roughly same amount of engagement to hit lvl 100 on HoL pass as lvl 50 on a standard event pass. Might be slightly easier actually.

Arena is going to come back sometime this year, with some more significant changes than the last update. We are certainly making changes with the aim of permanence or at least a significantly longer run than 6-8 weeks.

Each of the levels has a different historical stat, story, or fun fact about the inductee. We wanted to reallt explore the full journey of each player - 100 touch points felt more appropriate than 50 for that.

I hear you - we're operating off of a design/tuning intent that this is not supposed to be harder to complete. A high % of pass purchasers get to lvl 50 in Event Passes. We want to see similar for HoL, and will fix once live if it's not trending that way.

Season 2024 has been live for about 2 months now. I've been rollercoastering LP playing mid and jg, and have surprisingly found my favorite changes to be purple scuttle and infernal drake embers.

A commonly asked question I want to address as I did a poor job explaining in the video - players will pick Champ + Role combinations and get one of those. Any Shaco supports you encounter will be due to players, not Riot.

We need to not evaluate all modes the same. Some will index toward novelty and providing a fun 3-5 hour experience, with some small amount of players expected to go really deep. Others are meant for broad, lengthy engagement. League has room to do both.

Hey Spideraxe! We currently offer ways for players to get skins at lower prices (discounts, free chests/shards, your shop, etc). We don't really want to deliberately make meaningful "worse" skins than 1350s - and players haven't indicated they want that (1/2)

It is important that players can access cool content at many price points - low and high. We'll continue to look for ways to reach low price points, but we're not looking to create "less cool" content. Ie, 2010 LoL skins bar is not making a return. (2/2)

It’s pretty hard to balance missions tailored to a playstyle, role, or mode without favoring one type of player over others. Even without going too specific, we have some ARAM or support players feeling kinda sad about slower mission progress.

It really shouldn't take anywhere close to 100 hours to complete the 100 levels here. 4 sets of 4 missions, coming in waves and not gated by time, should be enough to complete the 100 levels.

We are not fully sold on gacha - we hear the player sentiment against it. We're exploring things, and gacha is one way to distribute high priced content. We're open to living in a world with selling high priced content without gacha, and we'll try it out at some point.
