For those curious, the context on this is that I put in a partial fix just after Champs. It should fix a lot of the spots where the rocket does 0 damage when hitting something near the enemy.
Testing has shown it does fix a lot of places that historically "absorbed" the rocket.

Apparently I've been at Riot for just over a year already which is wild to say for me. In that time I helped make Gekko, put Cypher in the range, and fixed a ton of bugs on lots of different agents! (extra callout for Wingman cause he's so precious and took lots of effort)

FYI the bug occurs if the kill happens while you're in the drone. It is trying to award the kill to the drone.
It's something we're aware of but have hit roadblocks trying to fix in the past. I'll bump it again though so we can try getting some fresh eyes on it hopefully.

I have been keeping an eye out in our playtests and on reddit/Twitter and haven't seen as many clips as before the fix. So I also wanted to hear from players anecdotally to get an idea of where else we can improve it.

A long time lol. I was the main engineer and was pulled onto the project in the summer. A good bit of the early time is split doing multiple things at once though (I did the Cypher in the range thing while also figuring out tech decisions for Gekko)
