@Morv6969 It's actually not that complicated. Vouchers work, they are providing opportunities to thousands of Ohio students. That's great. However, ESA's would expand that benefit to students who can't use vouchers. Even better. Onward.

@Morv6969 We did expand vouchers, yes. Backpack Bill is not a voucher program. It's an Education Saving Account (ESA) program. Not all schools take vouchers. True universal would be no means testing (current expansion still includes that) and all students, not just vouchers.

@stevehoover73 In committee. We passed a watered-down alternative in the budget last year. It was a big step forward for choice but was not full Backpack (i.e. ESA's and options for all learning environments) Still more work to be done.
