The Halo 3 “Believe” ad campaign reached levels of emotion in minute-long seconds that entire film franchises fail to touch.

I played 1k hours of Hunt Showdown before I got into Tarkov. I know it’s niche and weird, but it’s a PURE PVP extraction shooter with borderline perfect balancing, and THE BEST AUDIO IN A VIDEOGAME, period. It’s always been underrated. Some of y’all need to try it out.

I won’t lie: at the end of wipe 13.5, I was feeling a little meh about Tarkov . You might have noticed this sentiment in my attitude on twitter.
This wipe has, in 3 days, COMPLETELY revitalized my passion for this game. I’m super excited for its future.

Some people have been unhappy with devs talking about what hardware is or isn’t “outdated”. But yeah, a GTX 1080 is going to be close to a 10 year old GPU soon.
Yes, you’re getting old.
I recently had a conversation with a player who said they had "recent hardware" which was a GTX1080 and a i7 4790K. The GPU is from 2016, and the CPU is from 2014.
I think the PS4 launched somewhere around then. Just for reference.

Thoughts on EFT 0.14 after one day:

Despite the server instability, this is the best EFT has ever run on a wipe day in my experience. No lag, DCs or crashes. Once I was in the game I had no issues at all and queue+load tomes improved over the day.

Incentivising the PvP has never been the plan, and I hope streamer's interests doesn't distract from the orignal design ideas.

IMO: "Ground Zero" may be a map for low level players. That doesn't mean it should be an easy map. Tarkov is hard. It should be hard. People need to get absolutely destroyed to get any better at the game

Yeah, this is exactly what I feared. A huge part of the reason I ever grinded to level 55 was to get BEAR Telnik and G99, both of which used to be a huge flex, both of which now have zero meaning. Super dissapointing
Purchase of in-game apparel sets is now available on the "Expansions" page on the official Escape from Tarkov website.
Unlocking apparel is available regardless of the game edition. Players can also unlock clothing normally through in-game mechanics.

I honestly think anyone who’s been following the game for more than a second knew it would launch unfinished and unpolished.
IMO: there’s an unfortunate number of “this will be my tarkov replacement” people who showed up and expected something from the game it wasn’t.
