Middle American in every way. Government should be like golf. The objective of golf is to play less golf. I will slay dragons to keep us safe. βοΈπΊπΈπ»ππΈπ²

Once upon a time, in a land called Amerland, the realm was thought to be ruled by the magical Enchanters of the Left. They wore robes of bright, progressive colors and spoke in spells of inclusivity and equality. They believed themselves to be the heart and soul of Amerland, casting spells to shape the will of the people according to their vision of justice and righteousness. For many moons, these Enchanters thought they were the dominant force, their magic powerful enough to sway the winds of change. They chanted incantations in the halls of learning, the courts of law, and the chambers of governance, believing their magic was the most potent in all the land. But unbeknownst to them, the true magic of Amerland lay not in the spells of the few but in the hearts of the many. The common folk, the farmers, the artisans, and the merchants, held a quiet, steady power. Their magic was one of tradition, of simple joys, and of a desire for peace and order rather than constant upheaval. One day, as the Enchanters gathered for their grand assembly, expecting to weave their latest tapestry of change, they began to notice something peculiar. Their spells were not echoing back with the approval they had grown accustomed to. Instead, there was a silence, a heavy, thoughtful silence from the people of Amerland. From the hills and the valleys, from the factories and the fields, whispers began to spread. These whispers grew into murmurs, and the murmurs into a chorus. It was the song of the people, a song that spoke of weariness with the constant spell-casting, of a yearning for simplicity, and of a deep-seated resistance to the Enchanters' doctrines. A Grok Story of a Great Land As the Enchanters watched in dismay, their illusions began to fade. They saw that the land was not as they had painted it with their magical visions. The people viewed them not as heroes but as disruptors of the peace, as wielders of magic that many did not want or need. Like a spring flower unfurling its petals, the truth bloomed. The Enchanters realized they were but a tiny minority, their power more imagined than real, their influence more divisive than unifying. They found themselves not at the helm of Amerland but on the fringes, their magic less about transformation and more about alienation. The people of Amerland, in their wisdom, chose to celebrate the diversity of their own simple lives rather than the complex spells of the Enchanters. They returned to their traditions, their local festivals, and their community gatherings, finding strength in unity rather than division. And so, the Enchanters learned a hard but valuable lesson about the true essence of power in Amerland. It wasn't in the loudest spell or the most vibrant robe but in the silent, collective will of the people. The moral of this tale? Even the mightiest of spells can be undone by the quiet truth of the many. And the land lived, not in the shadow of enchantment, but in the light of mutual respect and understanding, ever after.

@tpbreaking Sure. We can only prosecute so many Congressmen and Senators at one time anyway. We have four years at least. We'll wait. I'd wager you'll be looking for a job in a couple of years anyway, if you're not in prison. We'll see...

He should also be stripped of his license to practice law... Just a glimpse of the dark side of Union leadership. Do you suppose there is more? This assumes that all of your membership are opposed to Donald Trump's actions, when evidence suggests that the majority may well have voted for Donald Trump. This woman is a grifter spending Union funds as if they are hers. Fire her.

Well first of all, your comment lacks credibility because you make it like a child. How can you be taken seriously when you are so obviously biased. Your mind is made up and closed for business. I have a better chance of having a menstrual cycle than you do of being taken seriously. I think Trump is an asshole. But he's our asshole and what we need right now is an asshole, not some geriatric asleep on a beach somewhere. Do better.

@NCAngieKay @teslaownersSV I worked for a municipal government and I can tell you that it is easy for it to happen. There were so many times when I heard people in positions of power and influence in the "Deep City" talk about Council members as if they were something that you just needed to survive...

@GuntherEagleman Over half of Congress is multi-millionaires. Who are they representing? Can they even be representative of their constituents when they lack a common frame of reference? Tabula rasa....

@theliamnissan Pretty much. But the story behind this misleading headline is that 80% of the coins are held by CIC Digital LLC, a Trump Organization Affiliate. So if anyone suffered for it, it's Trump himself. What a putz.

MY mother always told me that I should pity people like you...you live in such a state of dissatisfaction all the time. Fortunately for the rest of us, we only have to live in your world for a few moments. It's happening. Four years. There is nothing you can do but shout into the void. I love it.

@MadeInTheUSANJ Guess what? It doesn't matter. This is happening and there isn't a thing you can do about it except shout into the void... I love it.
