@engos713 @saokopapisrose Can confirm as well. Scott cited an April 1 shoot date in Italy. Not sure if Elordi's current filming schedule on Wuthering Heights might push it back a little or not.

@GabrielPiero04 Oh wow, I missed the Cohen news. Guess time will tell whether these rumours are true.

@GabrielPiero04 There were some very unconfirmed rumours last year from two separate sources that Harry Styles was being considered for a role. Not sure if true and even if true whether he is still involved. 🤷‍♂️

@GabrielPiero04 Nothing new on the Bee Gees film. Apple TV's new series "Dope Thief" is coming out next month, so hopefully Ridley will do some interviews since he directed the first episode. Maybe he'll tease us a bit with some new info or casting news.

@GabrielPiero04 Janty will do a fantastic job on their wardrobe. Arthur will nail the 1960 & 70's look. They've been working with Ridley for more than 25 years, so they will almost certainly work on this as well.

"Lawrence Alma-Tadema has been borrowed from so many. He’s a big influence on the classical film industry. The egg juggler in the first Gladiator film came from one of his paintings. So we like to borrow heavily from this man." - Arthur Max, Gladiator I & II production designer

@Ingwar1983 Janty Yates was also very excited about Scott's "cowboy" movie, "Freewalkers" in an interview from last year.

Ridley Scott's budding winery, "Mas des Infermières", will be exhibiting their wares at the Paris Wine & Vine Expo, 10 - 12 February. Both the Wine Expo flyer and the Mas des Infermières "Chevalier" (Knight) range wine labels were illustrated by Ridley Scott himself.

According to Ridley Scott, Gladiator II's river Styx afterlife sequence was inspired by the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river in Iceland where he filmed Prometheus. "When I visited Iceland, that’s when I saw what purgatory could look like" - Ridley Scott

Interesting to note is that Italo Gismondi's, "Il Plastico" - a massive 20m Ă— 17m (65ft x 55ft) scale model of ancient Rome that took him almost 30 years to build, is featured in aerial shots in both Gladiator films.

@sanjuuzo Scott mentioned it somewhere, might be the Director's commentary or an interview. The petrified Engineers are also refered to as Pompeii-esque in this article:
