China is criticised because the “people”did not vote directly for XI Jinping. The US president and vice president are ALSO not elected directly by citizens. Instead, they are chosen by “electors” through a process called the Electoral College. What’s the difference?

How can the people of the US be so hypocritical. Are they blinded by their warrior culture & indoctrinated superiority that they have lost all self-awareness & the ability to self-assess against the basic values of human civilisation?

Congratulations to US sharpshooters who - after several attempts - shot down a Chinese balloon strayed near the Land of the Free Below is a map of some of the 400 US bases that surround China, spying, probing, several with nuclear arms. The US describes the bases as a 'noose'.

Two types of comment that result in Instant Blocks: “I do not need to read it because it is a lie”. “If you love China so much, why don’t you go and live there”.

Taiwan is NOT recognised as a sovereign nation by the UN & most of its Member countries, including U.S., UK & Australia. All those countries have agreed Taiwan is part of China. Your tweet is not correct.

There is absolutely NO growing threat from China to Australia. Gutter press propaganda. Have these “journalists” never seen the death and destruction of the military conflict their words are inciting? Or they just don’t care.

@RichardSHeggie China is not a threat to Australia, with 4628 miles between them. Is Australia going to invade China or getting involved in Taiwan...

Wow...this title...I walked down the streets in Beijing nearly everyday these two months, and I haven't seen any burning bodies in streets of Beijing, not single one. So either the journalist of @FoxNews is living in a dream or there's something wrong with my eyes.

An angry Wong was bizarrely hostile toward Shoebridge for seeking answers beyond “the US can neither confirm nor deny” on US nuclear weapons in OZ . Greens responded strongly & correctly accusing OZ government of subverting OZ interests to US interests.

Who are the people advising Albo? The misguidance & misinformation is simply astounding. They must eagerly receive their daily orders from the US every morning.

Just another small revelation about the actions of the CIA in fomenting unrest in Iran & other countries. CIA lawyers advise such actions could result in death, & so require the President’s consent and notification of Congress leaders. How civilised…

Angry rants about AUKUS subs - but can anyone put forward workable ideas on reversing this insane decision? Changing elected government won't help – ALP & LNP are in lockstep. Greens oppose the deal but Teals seem focused on their local issues – good but not good enough.

Albo & Wong try to spin their way out of Keating’s erudite & truthful accusations on disastrous AUKUS deal by repudiating the lifetimes of respect for him that they had previously espoused. They have lost honour & integrity. So sad for ALP.

This is an incredible gathering - part of disintegrating UK society? With US society also in decline, why is OZ irreversibly aligning itself with these two imperial has-beens via the $368 billion AUKUS nuclear submarine deal? Is OZ trying to help bail them out?

Murdoch's Sky has a disgusting pro-war "documentary" featuring every far-right, anti-China commentator they could find, with war-mongering military hawks wanting to push OZ defence budget from 2% to 4%. Read Caitlin Johnstone's analysis of the documentary.
