. Livestock, dairy & arable farming is an essential part of our economy. Although the motion passed, it’s disappointing that 3 Green Councillors didn’t vote to back our farmers.
VICTORY: Suffolk councillors have voted to always provide meat and dairy options at events and have pledged to encourage the public to shop locally, supporting local farmers and growers. 3 Greens abstained but 95% of councillors voted YES 👏

is right to oppose the Norwich to Tilbury pylons. Where his position is tricky, is that any alternative means delaying decarbonising the grid until 2035 for under-grounding or later for an off-shore grid. Without that concession any opposition is hollow.

I used my first question in Parliament to ask Ed Miliband about the process for approving the giant solar and battery farm, Sunnica. It’s clear from his answer he hasn’t visited the site and he didn’t properly consider all the evidence.
