Covid taught me some very important lessons on human psychology. 1. People would rather be in the majority than be right. 2. The majority of people thoroughly enjoy being subjugated, as long as they can subjugate others 3. One of the few things than rivals fear of death is fear of social abandonment. 4. The human mind can be conditioned quickly and relatively easily, for better or for worse. 5. Experts are often called in to provide political cover for decisions that have already been made. 6. Fear overpowers logic. People would rather look like they're doing the right thing than actually do the right thing.
