I don't think I've told anyone here this yet, but here's my recent big accomplishment. This photo I shot in Tucson, AZ was just licensed to be in an upcoming National Geographic book. Doesn't feel like a big deal, but I know that it is. Doesn't seem real.

has become uninhabitable in the last two years. Moving our life and business to where homelessness and drugs are still illegal. Tired of armed neighborhood guard duty when I need to get some sleep.

That was fun. Someone shot up our home an hour ago and my neighbors car that was parked next to mine. There were a bunch of 9mm shell casings on the ground about 15-20 feet from where my youngest son was doing his online schoolwork. If that's not a sign, I don't know what is.

When I lived in Seattle, I was openly scoffed at for holding doors open for women by the women I was holding the door open for. As a Southerner, it feels deeply wrong, rude and unmanly not to do this.

Yesterday my boy and I watched the classic 1983 film, "Fire and Ice". I normally can't stand watching TV or movies, but I made an exception for this one, mainly because Frank Frazetta and Ralph Bakshi were involved. Still amazing! Very aesthetically pleasing.

This native Floridian says 100000% no. I was living in Seattle and saw what happened there when it got legalized in Washington. Not much different at first, but the quality of society took a nose dive fast.
