@elonmusk Agree that we need to stop the waste. But we will still go broke if Medicare and social security remains as is. All this cutting to discretionary spending really doesn’t do anything in terms of real, meaningful impact on our debt.

@Michell33650674 Nope. Social security, Medicare and payment on the debt is 74% of the budget. Thats is where the bulk of your tax dollars go. Only 26 cents on the dollar go to everything else, including military and education.
