He was rated a 4-star recruit by 247Sports and was ranked as the fourth best high school player in Virginia in 2020.
Johnson recorded 199 yards and one touchdown on 14 catches as a Tiger.
3-star DL Martreece Dillard has committed to Bowling Green over Arizona, Michigan, Florida, and Indiana among others.
The move comes a little over 2 months after Dillard de-committed from Vanderbilt.

Former BGSU WR Austin Osborne was named the German Football League’s Player of the Week this past week after recording 7 receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown
BGSU WR Odieu Hiliare is officially declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.
After transferring in from Alabama A&M prior to 2022, Hiliare totaled 1,279 yards and 10 touchdowns on 103 receptions, earning all-MAC honors in both seasons he donned the orange and brown.
BGSU lands a commitment from 2025 3-star defensive tackle Dior Garner out of Canton McKinley (OH).
Garner, ranked as the 88th overall player in the state of Ohio, had 18 offers including Ball State, Miami (OH), East Carolina, and Coastal Carolina.

BGSU safety Trent Simms announces he’ll be back in orange and brown for 2024.
The junior had 34 tackles, an interception, and returned a blocked kick for a touchdown against Liberty.
Bowling Green lands a commitment from Texas Southern transfer DB Ja’Corey Benjamin.
Benjamin, a three-star prospect in the class of 2019, spent the last four seasons with the Tigers, totaling 84 tackles (64 solo), four interceptions, and 14 PBUs in just 22 games.
Iowa State transfer OL Hunter Deyo has committed to Bowling Green.
A former four-star prospect out of Council Bluffs, IA, Deyo redshirted the 2022 season and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Former BGSU WR Austin Osborne has signed with the Berlin Rebels of the German Football League, the team announced on Instagram.
Osborne totaled 867 yards and two touchdowns on 95 catches across three seasons as a member of the Orange and Brown.

Grand Valley State transfer DB Nyzier Fourqurean has received an offer from Bowling Green.
Fourqurean, only a sophomore, was named a D2 First-Team All-American by the Associated Press.

Rated a 3-star prospect and a top-60 player in the state of Michigan by 247Sports, Kraatz had 11 other offers, including Harvard, Dartmouth, Toledo, Army, and Navy.
Bowling Green officially announces the addition of seven transfers, including two-time All-MAC safety CJ Brown from Northern Illinois.
Brown only played in three games in 2023, but has seen action in 32 games the three seasons prior.
