It's not a legal liability issue. There is no trial. It's an eligibility issue like being under the age requirement or not being born in this country. He took an oath to defend the constitution. He violated it by trying to stop the peaceful transfer of power. He's not eligible.

I am a full time care giver. I have MSNBC on one of 2 TVs from 7 am to midnight most days. I can't say for certain that there was no Muslim anchor out during their normal hour, but I know they were all on at some point and I know that MSNBC anchors often miss a shift, weekly.
