“There's going to be a massive shift in how all of us work together. And then when we put that on top of the accelerated efforts of anti-choice and anti-rights groups that have been funding this accelerated opposition, this is gas on the flames.”

Trump’s recent moves suggest he’s poised to follow Project 2025’s recommendations for foreign aid, including deep cuts, fewer grants to large NGOs and United Nations agencies, more partnerships with faith-based organizations, and broad limits on speech.

On Friday evening, President Trump reinstated a broad version of an anti-abortion policy known as the global gag rule, which bans foreign NGOs receiving U.S. aid funds from engaging in abortion advocacy, counseling, or referrals. @garnethenderson reports:

Yesterday, the National Network of Abortion Funds announced it would not renew its executive director’s contract. The news comes on the heels of advocacy from individual funds for greater transparency and faster distribution of donations:
