@serenitynow And, seeing that some have advised cooking the steak from frozen, I’ll clarify: After fully thawed, I like to let my steak warm up out of the fridge for 30 min. or so, patted dry and seasoned with salt (and, sometimes, black pepper) before cooking.

@ASmithVol @HansFiene Smuckers natural is the best you can buy. It tastes like peanuts. (Though if you don’t like the stirring, Jif is the way to go; crunchy, of course.

@HansFiene It’s not just grandparents. My cousin and his wife are raising eight kids in a three-bedroom, one-bath, house. (They do have an extra commode in the basement, which is handy when they have guests over—which is frequently.)
