We made the trip to Pride Park today from

to witness

dismantle Bristol 3-0.
Reuben is three weeks down in his rehab and is doing well. He has had Botox injections and daily rehab sessions. Keep the train chugging!

Reuben has settled into his rehabilitation in Tadworth at the Children’s Trust which specialises in brain injury. He is doing daily sessions of physio, occupational, speech therapies and a weekly hydrotherapy session.

Reuben still can’t move his right arm but the first step is to acknowledge it’s still there and encourage him to include it and help himself with two handed tasks.

I’m sure you’re joking but…. Vickers gave Reuben his gloves at the training ground. He also came out to have a kick about with him and Ivy. He is a fantastic human being and great role model. Someone who is professional and who gives 100% 4 the shirt which is all we can ask for

Reuben has been using fidget toys to work on his right hand and arm control. When Reuben concentrates his right hand contracts so giving him a ball helps him create new pathways to make it a voluntary movement moving forward. Reps! Reps!

Reuben suffered a stroke 5 weeks ago and lost his speech and movement on his right side. With early intervention we might be able to get it back the window is 3-6 months. Surely it’s in the tax payers interest to allow him to contribute to society rather than draw from it.
