Someone asked me why I’m still single. I know myself well. I recognize my own red flags and feel that I haven’t changed enough. I think it’s best to remain alone rather than risk involving someone else’s feelings when I know I’m not yet the best version of myself.

Honestly, I felt sad when I found out that a friend I liked, someone I felt comfortable talking to and interacted with often, decided to soft block me, basically cutting me off. I naturally tend to think that people who interact with me often are those who are pretty close to me.
