After struggling with a bad flu, I went to the ER yesterday, and I’ve been admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. Very disappointed to miss MLK events this weekend and tomorrow’s inauguration, which I had planned on attending, but I’m hoping to be back on my feet soon.

This morning, I had the tremendous honor of meeting Dr. Shoshan Haran. Shoshan, along with her daughter and two grandchildren, were held hostage by Hamas terrorists for 50 days following the horrific tragedies on October 7, 2023.

For more than 15 months, hostages and their families, including American citizens, have endured unimaginable pain. Today, we are one step closer to bringing them home.

A mutual agreement that will #BringThemHomeNow, halt the violence, and permit increased humanitarian aid to Gaza is a strong and significant step forward.
