The Safe Alabama Package sends a clear message that Alabama stands firmly behind our law enforcement officers and has zero tolerance for those who threaten the safety of our citizens. I’m excited to begin moving these bills through the legislative process.

I enjoyed discussing some of my legislative priorities this morning at the first @ALDailyNews Issues Breakfast of the session. Whether it be education, economic development, or public safety, we’re focused on growing our successes and overcoming our challenges in Alabama.

It was great being with @ManufactureAla this evening. Our manufacturing sector supports over 270,000 jobs & contributes more than $40 billion to the economy each year. Thanks in part to their efforts, Alabama was ranked as the most improved state for business in 2024. #alpolitics

I enjoyed sitting on the @EDAAInfo panel with my friend, @SenLivingstonAL. Our local economic developers are the state’s boots on the ground for industry recruitment and job creation. I appreciate their efforts and am excited to continue working to advance Alabama’s economy.

I was honored to join Alabama’s 67 sheriffs for the 2025 Alabama Sheriff’s Association Winter Conference. Public safety is one of my top priorities for the upcoming Legislative Session, and I appreciate the vital role our sheriffs play in protecting Alabama’s communities.

I enjoyed joining colleagues from the House and Senate for a panel with the Alabama Council of Association Executives. ACAE includes leaders from over 185 associations and companies, many of whom are key partners to the Legislature and offer valuable insights on industry-related bills.

From nonstop political witch hunts to surviving two assassination attempts, President Trump fought every step of the way to continue serving our country and was elected with a clear mandate. It’s a new day in America, and for the first time in four years, I’m excited about the direction our country is headed. God Bless America 🇺🇸

My decision to display 'In God We Trust' in the House Chamber reflects our state's long-held values of faith and liberty. It's who we are as Alabamians. This isn't political to me; it's simply the right thing to do.
