The government website that serves our rural communities is offline. This Administration’s chaotic approach is hurting American farmers and I’m fighting back.

We must stop Elon Musk and his DOGE Commission from accessing and abusing Americans’ most confidential and personal financial information. This is a breach of our privacy rights - and I will immediately join the legislative fight to stop it.

In October, I helped secure $37 million in funding for Progressive Rail of Lakeville to improve aging rail infrastructure, expand service capacity and create jobs. Yesterday, I had the honor of formally congratulating founder Dave Fellon and his team for this well-deserved grant.

Today, I visited the Old Lakeville Public Works Building with Mayor Luke Hellier to see where the new FiRSTCenter will be built. I was proud to secure $800,000 for this state-of-the-art training facility last Congress for our law enforcement officers and public safety personnel.

#MN02's law enforcement & correctional officers are on the frontlines of combatting the opioid epidemic. Today I had the opportunity to sit down with Sheriff Luke Hennen & correctional officers at the Scott County Jail to discuss the importance of overdose prevention efforts.

My heart is broken for the families who lost their loved ones in last night’s tragic accident in DC that claimed the lives of civilians and members of our military. They remain in my prayers as we work to get answers about how this incident happened in the first place.

This morning, I had the opportunity to visit the special education programs at Two Rivers High School in Mendota Heights with Superintendent Olson-Skog. I can’t think of a better way to start my day than with #MN02’s incredible students & educators.

Today, I visited the 3M plant in Cottage Grove with CTO John Banowetz. It’s great to see 3M continue to innovate right here in #MN02 and create good-paying jobs for folks in Washington County and beyond.

#MN02 communities want clarity, not chaos. This unconstitutional federal funding freeze has families, police departments, farmers and businesses wondering how the administration could not have thought this through. I’ll keep pressing for answers.
