Under the Digital services Act the largest global platforms need to take measures against misinformation and election manipulation. This includes clearly labeling political advertising. Citizens will be able to distinguish messages that seek to shape their political views and decisions. It also includes bans on voter manipulation or techniques that amplify or target large groups of users, not allowing also airing from outside of the EU 3 months before an election. As X seems to be breaking multiple rules under this law by amplifying one political candidate, they will likely have to show how they will adhere to the law, make sure they give equal access to all political parties and let citizens make up their own mind on who they vote for without manipulation This is what the DSA says:

@CaChCarin I'd say it's playing to their kind of uninformedness of that voterbase and their resentful unwillingness to know better, so they can whine about the government. They don't WANT to know how the government doesn't set prices for eggs or why prices are the way they are.
