Opposition Leader Mark Golding says the Government’s plan to establish Portmore as a parish would result in the removal of the mayor who was directly elected last year. He also insists the Government is using the legislation to surreptitiously change electoral boundaries.

@NationwideRadio We keep hearing about these “high level probes” and even if this is true. Why was SSL issuing statements to Bolt to the effect that the money he invested was deposited there, this is even more egregious than if all the funds were deposited at SSL then stolen. That’s deception!!!

As @usainbolt gave an interview, here comes Nationwide/JLP FM with a fake news story discrediting him, saying his money was stolen before put in account, sources close to the probe saying this & that, & he is likely to never get his money! It is very clear the game at play!

So they have gone on the offensive against Bolt although it was a member of G2K who advised him to invest at SSL which had esteemed clients such as the Most Hon Andrew Holness but then again “Jackass seh di werl nuh level”, the PM came out in the nick of time unscathed
