This man really is amazing not only is he going above and beyond for our school, he is now on his way to deliver sandwiches to the NHS workers. As well as volunteering his services as a responder volunteer. We feel very lucky to have you on our team
@ROWE_75
Over the moon to say that
@ROWE_75
has been accepted as an NHS responder. School will be supporting him 💯. Make sure to give him a wave if you see him out and about in the minibus.
Austin and Melissa have delivered some hand-made retirement cards for David who is retiring from his road crossing patrol duties. He was so pleased to see them! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication David!

The staff and pupils are overwhelmed by the generosity of an anonymous donor for these beautiful books. Reading is so important to us and we were extremely upset when someone destroyed our books in the Hobbit House. THANK YOU THANK YOU whoever you are, it means so much ❤️📚
Today has been filled with lots of emotion for both pupils and staff. Our school team will continue to be phenomenal as they work through these uncertain times. Thank you so much for all your kind messages that you have sent in, it really does mean a lot to all staff.
Wow! What a fantastic turn out this morning at the Junior Park Run! Thank you to all the parents who brought their children and showed their support.

5B’s homework was to produce a biography about a ‘famous’ sports person. It’s safe to say Mr Rowe was pleased to finally have his very own biography!

Thank you to all staff that agreed to be splatted; it has been confirmed that the sponges were both very wet and very cold.
Big shout out to our amazing Mr Rowe, out delivering sunflower packs to our year 3 children (along with their times table booklet). Please keep them safe ready to plant next half term. 3R & 3F you will be getting your delivery in the next few days!

A massive thank you to this amazing team who are working extremely hard to ensure school remains open for our key worker children and that everything is ready for when we welcome the children back. We are missing them all!
We are now closed to the large majority of pupils. I would like to say how extremely impressed with how the pupils have dealt with this very difficult situation. Stay safe everyone.

Wow! Logan from 4L has run 52 laps of his road today whilst his key worker mum was with the NHS then saved the last mile to do with her as a surprise! What a star! Half marathon run! We are really proud of you.

We had a brilliant visit from
@SeanMJarvis
, the commercial director of Huddersfield Town. His role at the club was really interesting and got us thinking about different jobs in sport.
I would like to thank my whole team who have continued as calmly and professionally as usual as we face this uncertainty. The patience of my office staff especially continues to blow me away as they continue to support parents and pupils despite feeling under pressure themselves
🎉🎉🌟🌟Silver medalist in the Yorkshire SHA Finals.
We are so proud of them! They showed great determination and sportsmanship on the day and have worked tirelessly to prepare for this event.

I would like to wish Harshitha in 5D a huge congratulations. She has been chosen to have some of her wonderful writing published! It's called 'Ridiculous Writers - Amazing Creations' and she wrote an amazing mini saga. Well done - we are really proud of you!
Today Ben (3B) took part in the £5 for 5k challenge. He ran 5k, donated £5 (of his own money)to the NHS charities and nominated 5 other people (including Mr Rowe) to do the same. We are so proud of him! Well done Ben, what a brilliant thing to do for such a worthy cause.

Thank you to Mr Rowe for coming to talk to Year 6 about their careers writing. You are so inspiring and the children had some excellent questions. ⚽️ 🥅
Our quiet zone is almost complete and children were very excited to take a look at it today. This space will be used for pupils who wish to read a good book or chill out. Do you like

to help us as we aim to reduce the amount of single-use plastic in school.
An emotional goodbye to our neighbour - ‘Grandma’ Mavis! Every break and lunchtime, our lovely Year 6s have been to say hello to her and we’ve become part of her family. We delivered a card and some treats to let her know how important she is to us ♥️
