In the Philippines, Wikipedia is one of the platforms most safe from historical distortion about the Marcos regime, thanks to industrious volunteer editors (one was in an 8-hour edit war with a revisionist). Since Wiki is a common resource for students, they're doing impt work!
Journalists need to do a better job explaining to the public how Wikipedia works and what it can teach the rest of the internet about building a functional information ecosystem.
