It's pretty clear the White House wants to erase the contributions of Black Americans from our history books. Black history IS American history. Thanks to all the teachers, parents, & community leaders out there who are teaching youth their history this month & every single day.
While some want to whitewash history, we celebrate the Black voices - past and present - who make our communities special. Happy Black History Month!
