With DAOs, its a vote of all token holders. Cases like Arbitrum are especially special since the token holders control not just a large $3 billion treasury but also code upgrades My general mental model is thinking of tokenvoting as a board, except its fully transparent in knowing exactly how important each delegate is plus accessible in letting anyone submit a proposal to the board Just as we don't put every decision before a board, we shouldn't put every proposal before tokenvoters. This is where frameworks come in, where the board can approve a larger program (like STEP for RWA growth) but not actually look into each applicant which a committee can do Moving on to public goods, i lay out the high level objective: enabling cooperation without domination Transactions usually always have an inbuilt level of dominance between the procurer to the provider. First is to just get a wallet with an ENS name After that, for DAO governance; 1/ identify a DAO to contribute in 2/ delegate some amount of voting token to yourself 3/ comment in the forum, vote on proposals, tweet about your votes for Public Goods; 1/ Donate in Gitcoin rounds and @OctantApp epochs so that you can positively influence the fund distribution 2/ Tweet about your voting selections publicly 3/ once you start getting acquainted, you'll see the gaps in these systems and have the context to contribute in making these better over time a lot of opportunities will come your way if you do the above. so how to choose which ones to take up?
